The goals of the summit are to:
1. foster connections between members of the legal profession,
2. teach focused segments of practical skills, and
3. facilitate a conversation around advancing justice and effective representation for all.
Historically, NITA programs attract the best and brightest in the legal industry—attorneys who are looking to stand out from the crowd and gain the skills necessary to advance the profession. NITAVision2018 is no different. This conference puts you in the same room with like-minded trial lawyers looking to gain an edge, be it in deposition, in the courtroom, or in life.
Anyone who wants to be part of the conversation. NITA Faculty, Authors, NITA Trustees, Alumni, and aspiring Faculty will all be in attendance. If you have thought about attending a NITA program before but haven’t yet made the jump into a multi-day program, NITAVision2018 is the perfect opportunity to see we're all about. After the Summit, you will have not only gained a sense of the strength of the NITA Community, but also skills and knowledge to be immediately applied back in your office. Basically, if you are connected, or want to be connected, to NITA, you should be in attendance.
This summit represents our first foray outside of the NITA classroom, and we are eager to engage attendees in this important conversation about the challenges they face in contemporary trial practice and advocacy.
Guiding you on your way to gain that edge is a list of presenters, moderators, and keynote speakers that reads like a who’s who of the legal profession. There will be keynote sessions, roundtable discussions, and breakout presentations available to all attendees. The agenda has been built so that in each time slot there will be an interactive and informative session providing strategies and solutions you can take back and immediately incorporate into your practice.
The Summit will offer up to 11 hours of credit.
